GENERAL SUMMARY- Exhaust Department Supervisor

Manages a group of technical staff (engineers, technicians, designers and administrators) engaged in design, development testing and prototype activities, The supervisor leads staff to achieve accomplishment of organizational objectives as defined by related product manager.


• Leads staff of engineers and technicians in design and development of new products and improvement of existing products.
         • Maintain project management systems.
         • Monitor project progress
         • Provide direction to engineers and technicians.
         • Provide progress reports to management.
         • Perform performance reviews and employee evaluations
• Accept responsibility as delegated by department manger for new design or revision to existing design.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


The incumbent must:

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline and generally eight plus years experience in related field
• An advanced degree and generally six plus years experience in related field.
• Certification required in some areas.
• Have experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
• Have strong communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects and programs.
• Be able to pass all background checks and pre-employment tests, including any required drug test.
• Be able to maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.

Intermediate to advanced experience (beyond basic data entry) working with computer applications such as Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, PowerPoint, and other presentation applications and / or software.
