Retirement

CalsonicKansei Americas provides dollar-for-dollar matching, in the 401(k), on the first 5% of eligible compensation. There is no vesting schedule on the 401(k), team member and CalsonicKansei Americas matching contributions are always 100% team member owned. In addition to the 401(k), CalsonicKansei Americas contributes 2% of eligible compensation for profit sharing.

CalsonicKansei Americas offers medical (including prescription coverage), dental, and vision coverage to eligible team members and their dependents. Two medical and dental options provide the ability to choose the best option for team member’s unique situation. Team members and dependents enrolled in a medical plan located in Shelbyville and Lewisburg have access to an on-site clinic. Team members in Mississippi, Tennessee (Smyrna), Michigan have access to a near-site clinic. Services provided at the Clinics are free of charge delivering high-quality care.

Insurance

Insurance

Team members receive basic life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage at no cost. Supplemental life insurance for team members and dependents is available and paid for through payroll deduction. Short term disability (STD) coverage is available to team members to provide income after a non-work related disability occurs. CalsonicKansei Americas provides a basic Long Term Disability benefit (LTD) at no cost. Team Members have the option to elect an LTD buy plan which provides a higher level of benefit. The Employee Assistance Program is offered to all team members and their immediate family members at no cost.

CalsonicKansei Americas observes up to thirteen paid holidays each year, which culminate with a Christmas shutdown. Additionally, PTO time ranges from three weeks for one to four years of service, four weeks after reaching five years of service, and an additional day per year for 11 to 14 years of service. Fifteen year team members receive five weeks of PTO.
